How To Recover Data From Recovery Partition

The below section is all about recovering data from a partition, but are you aware of what a partition is? Basically, when you divide your computer’s hard disk into more than one part, they are called partitions. There will be times when a partition gets deleted or removed because of accidental deletion, wrong restoration, corruption, improper partition resizing, etc. Apart from this, virus infections, unexpected system shutdowns are the other reasons for the issue. In this article, we will provide some of the steps that will help you recover data from the recovery partition.

Some Of The Free Partition Recovery Software:

  • Recoverit Data Recovery
  • Test Disk
  • Disk Internals Partition Recovery
  • Laze soft Recovery Suit
  • Orion File Recovery Software
  • Acronis Recovery Expert Wizard
  • Mini Tool Partition Recovery
  • Active Partition Recovery
  • Disk Drill
  • Partition Find and Mount

Make Use Of The Acronis Disk Director Software:

  • Go to Tools and select Acronis Recovery Experts from the menu.
  • You can either recover your partition manually or automatically.
  • The automatic method is quick and easy.
  • In the recovery mode window, choose the Automatic option.
  • Go to the Searching for deleted volumes window.
  • If unallocated space is found, the tool starts searching for traces of deleted volumes.
  • Once the scan completes, the Next button becomes enabled.
  • Once you have placed the required volumes in the hard disk structure, click Next.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to start recovering the volumes.

Steps to recover in manual mode:

  • On the Recovery mode screen, click the Manual option.
  • Select unallocated space in the Unallocated Space section.
  • Note: If you don't know the location of deleted volumes, select all the unallocated spaces on all the basic disks.
  • In the Searching Method window, you can choose Fast and Complete mode.
  • The fast mode is recommended because it usually takes less time and, in most cases, finds all the deleted files.
  • Whereas the Complete mode checks every sector but is slow.
  • In the Searching for deleted volumes window, scanning for all the selected disks takes place.
  • Note: If no volume is found, close the Utility.
  • Once the Recovered Volumes window opens up, check whether all the volumes are properly placed in the hard disk structure.
  • Follow the screen and click Proceed to start recovering the volumes.
