Recovering Hotmail Account Email Messages
Hotmail is a webmail service that can be accessed from a web browser. You can also access your Hotmail email messages in the Outlook email client. In case you delete an email message, and you want to know how to recover Hotmail account email messages , perform the below steps
Method 1 - Restoring Deleted Messages From Deleted Items Folder
- The deleted email messages will stay in the Deleted Items folder for 14 days. If you have deleted the email message recently, i.e., within 14 days, you can proceed with this method.
- Open the Microsoft Outlook email client on your computer.
- If you haven’t logged in yet, click the Sign In button.
- Enter your Hotmail email address and select the Next option.
- Type your Hotmail password in the Password field and select the Sign In option.
- In the left panel, right-click the Deleted Items option and choose the recover Deleted Items option.
- Select the email message that you want to recover and then click the Recover option followed by OK.
- This will restore the selected email message. The restored email can be seen in the Inbox folder.
- If the deleted email message is not in the Deleted Items or Trash folder, go to the next method.
Method 2 - Restoring Using EaseUS Email Recovery Wizard
- Download the EaseUS Email Recovery Wizard software and install it on your computer.
- Open the installed software, select the radio button next to the ‘Recover Deleted Email/Repair PST File’ option, and click the Next button.
- Navigate to the ‘Select source PST file’ section and click the Select source file option.
- Search for the .PST file, select it from the list, and click the Open option.
- The software will start to scan the file.
- Once done, it will display the deleted Hotmail email messages on the screen.
