- Disk Drill can recover deleted music files on MAC.
- Click on the Disk Drill icon from where you have saved the application to launch it to Recover Music and Videos with Disk Drill.
- From the list of drives on the home screen, select the one where the deleted music file was stored.
- This page will also display the external devices that are connected to your PC.
- If your audio file is stored in a partition of the drive, then click on the drive that has the partition and select it.
- Head to the Scanning FAQs segment, if you can’t locate your drive.
- Select the Extras drop-down box which is next to your selected drive.
- Choose the Remount Volume as Read Only option from the list to prevent your drive from third-party access during the recovery process.
- Locate the Recover button next to the selected drive and click on it.
- Wait until the discovered files are displayed.
- You can stop, pause, resume, cancel and save the session during the scanning process.
- Use the Filter option to extract the audio files.
- Head to the bottom of the screen and select the Mount Found Items as Disk button.
- Choose a location to store the retrieved files.
- Drag the audio files from the mounted disk to the selected destination to Recover Music and Videos with Disk Drill.
- To check whether the music is transferred properly, open the saved location and try playing them.
