You can use the iTunes data recovery instead of iCloud backup to store the data and back it up on your Mac. If you have lost or deleted important data on your iOS devices, then you have a chance to recover it from the iTunes backup folder on Mac.
iTunes Backup On A Mac Device
Firstly, connect the iOS device to the Mac system and launch the Finder app.
Search for ‘iTunes’ using the Go To Folder menu and open it.
If the system prompts to enter a password to continue, enter the user account password and continue.
When the window opens up, you can find the device name on the left side panel.
Click the name of the device and select the Back Up Now button to start the backup.
In case you lost the data on the iOS device, you can get the backup data from the Mac computer using iTunes data recovery.
Connect the device to the Mac computer and open the iTunes app.
Select the device icon at the upper right corner of the window, and now the list of options will appear.
