How to Overwritten Data Recovery Tools?

If you have replaced or overwritten the data on a file, you can use a data recovery tool such as Disk Drill, EaseUS File Recovery, DiskInternals, or Stellar Info to retrieve the data. You can also recover the Overwritten Data Recovery Tools files using the System Restore utility by restoring your system to the previous version.

Follow these steps to recover the overwritten files using the data recovery software:

  • First, download a standard data recovery software on your computer.
  • If you have overwritten the files on your main hard drive, download a data recovery software on an external drive.
  • Connect it to the computer and launch the software.
  • Make sure you have downloaded the compatible data recovery software on your computer.
  • In the data recovery window, choose the hard drive from which you wish to recover the overwritten files.
  • Click the Scan button to search for the overwritten files on your hard drive.
  • It may take some time to complete the scan based on the size of the data to be recovered.
  • After completing the scan, choose the file you wish to recover and click the Recover button.
  • Select a drive location for saving the recovered file and click Exit to close the window.
  • Next, verify whether the overwritten files are recovered and saved in the selected location.

  • On your Windows, click the Start menu and open the Windows Control Panel.
  • In the Control Panel window, click the System and Security tab followed by System.
  • Click the System Protection option and select the System Restore button.
  • Make sure you have already created a system restore point before using the System Restore utility.
  • In the System Restore window, choose the restore point and click the Next button to start restoring your Windows.
