- First, download the R-Studio data recovery software from the official site.
- Launch the R-Studio official site, key in the version of your OS and tap the Enter key.
- Click the R-Studio Download button to save the software to your system.
- Launch the app after the installation is complete.
- If you are going to recover the data from an external device, then connect it to the computer.
- The proceeding step is to choose the driver from which files have to be recovered and the drive in which you want to save the recovered files.
- Click the Scan button to launch the Scan Dialog Box.
- Make the Extra Search for Known File Types option is selected. Tap the Known File Types button.
- The R-studio software will now start scanning the selected disk.
- Once the scanning process is over, the list of retrieved files will be displayed on your screen.
- Select the files or images that you want to recover by highlighting the checkbox available near the files.
- If you want to preview the files you have recovered, then make use of the Preview option.
- Choose a destination folder to save the retrieved files. The files will be stored in the specified folder in a few minutes.
- The data recovery results will be displayed in the final step. Save it if required.
