Recovering data using Windows Backup:
Plug the Flash drive in to your computer to recover the lost data from it.
On your Windows computer, click the Start button and go to Control Panel.
Navigate to the System And Maintenance section, and select the Backup and Restore option from the list.
Click on the Restore my files button and browse to select the Flash Drive folder.
Choose a folder on your computer to save the recovered files.
Recovering lost data from Flash Drive using software:
Install a recovery software on your computer to recover data from the flash drive.
Make sure to choose the best recovery software which is compatible with your computer.
Connect the USB flash drive to your computer/laptop to recover lost data.
Open the recovery software and select the location of the connected flash drive.
You can view and select the required files which you want to recover. Then, click on the Recover button.
On your computer, create a folder to save the recovered files.
Recovering data from Command Prompt:
Connect the USB flash drive to your Windows computer.
Press the Windows and R buttons together to open the Run dialog box.
Type “cmd” in the search section and click OK.
When the Command Prompt window appears, type chkdsk X: /f.
Make sure to replace X with the alphabet assigned to the Flash drive. Then, press the Enter key.
Enter the command “ATTRIB -H -R -S /S /D X:*.*.” in the Command Prompt. Replace X with your drive letter.
Your lost files will be restored to your Flash drive after the process gets completed.
