Recover Deleted or Lost Emails from Microsoft Outlook 365

Many of us have the habit of deleting some important mails while deleting emails and later realize that they have removed the mail, which is needed. If such a thing happens, first, we need to go is the deleted items or trash folder. In case you find a lot of items in the folder, follow these steps:

  • Search for the item
  • Right-click on it
  • Select move
  • Move to the other folder

It is not that difficult to recover a deleted email if it's still exist in your Deleted Items folder. You can't recover an email that has been permanently deleted. However, some recovery software may help you.

How to recover a mail that is no longer in the Deleted Items folder?

It is not in the Deleted Items folder, the following spot to look is the "Recoverable Items folder." This is a hidden folder.If you have performed one of these actions, your folder will be moved to the hidden folder.

  • Deleting from the Deleted Items folder.
  • Emptied the Deleted Items folder.
  • Permanently deleted a thing from the Inbox or any other folder.

Note: If you see the Trash folder in place of Deleted Folder, your account doesn't support recovering because it is in the IMAP type account.

  • In your Outlook account, go to your email folder list.
  • Now, click the Deleted Items.
  • On the Home menu, select Recover Deleted Items From Server.
  • Select the Deleted Items folder and click Recover Items From Server.
  • Select the emails that you need to recover,
  • Select Restore Selected Items and click OK.
  • The recovered emails will be moved to the Deleted Items folder.
