The Avast antivirus program can protect your device from malware and other threats. If you have unknowingly deleted any important files on your computer using the Avast antivirus software, carry out the instructions mentioned below to recover files deleted by Avast.
Method 1: Using the Yahoo Mail website
On your Windows computer, launch the Avast antivirus program by double-clicking the Avast shortcut icon on the desktop.
In the Avast main dashboard, click the Protection tab from the left-side panel.
Next, click on Virus Chest to see the list of Avast deleted files.
Choose the file you wish to recover and click the Delete arrow to open the pop-up menu to recover files deleted by Avast.
Select the Restore option from the pop-up list and click the Close button.
Now, the deleted file will be moved to the original location.
Alternatively, you can restore it by clicking the More icon (three vertical dots) next to the file and selecting the Restore option.
