Recover Ipad Password Without Losing Data

Recover Ipad Password Without Losing Data

If you have forgotten the iPad passcode, you can recover the data using the iTunes or iCloud account. But you need to delete all the data on your iPad and restore it from the backup. Before proceeding with the recovery process, make sure you have remembered the login credentials of your iTunes or iCloud account. This method is only applicable only if you have already backed up your iPad data on your Mac computer.

  • If the backup fails to start, navigate to the iTunes Preferences and select the Devices tab.
  • Deselect the checkbox “Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically” available at the bottom of the screen.
  • Now, perform a factory reset for your iPad and restore it from the created backup.
  • On your Mac, open the iTunes main menu and select your iPad.
  • After selecting your iPad, click the Restore iPad button.
  • Confirm your action by clicking the Backup button on the new pop-up window.
