Why Remo Recover Cannot Detect Phone?

At times, Remo recover cannot detect phone. It mostly happens because of two reasons:

Remo Recover Cannot Detect Phone
  • Your Android phone might have MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) as well as PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol), but might not support the USB Mass Storage mode (UMS mode).
  • You might have failed to enable the UMS mode on your Android phone.

Therefore, you have to enable the USB Storage/Mass Storage mode on your Android phone. Only then will Remo Recover recognize your phone. In case the USB Storage/Mass Storage mode on your Android phone has been enabled, and still, Remo Recover does not detect it, you can make use of the instructions given below to resolve the issue:

  • You have to connect your Android phone to a PC. After the drivers have auto-installed themselves, you can connect your USB cable. Tap the Turn on USB Storage button.
  • Now, tap the OK button to enable the UMS mode.
