- First, run the data recovery software on your computer and choose the drive where you lost the files.
- Click Scan after selecting the required drive to start scanning immediately.
- Wait until the scan is completed.
- Choose the file that allows full preview and double-click on it.
- Choose the required files for recovery and click the Recover button.
- In the pop-up window, browse a location on your drive to save all the files and click OK. Doing so will repair the corrupted files.
- If the problem persists, run System File Checker or any other trusted file repair toolkit to fix the problem on your SSD.
- To run System File Checker, open the Start menu and type ‘cmd’ in the search panel.
- From the search result, right-click the Command Prompt app and select the Run as administrator option.
